kennedy engineering products was founded in February 1968 when Hobert Kennedy left his job engineering hydraulic missile components and went full time at his hobby, designing, engineering and manufacturing custom off road parts, specifically engine adapters.
Once Hobert designed his first engine adapter kit, he needed a high performance clutch to handle the horsepower increase. He designed, engineered and manufactured a performance clutch that is the industry’s best known performance clutch for VW.
Our specialty has become designing, engineering and manufacturing engine adapters and high performance clutches for several different transaxles for the off road industry as well as VW and Porsche. By word of mouth we have earned a reputation for quality and integrity.
